Hello,

i have problem "Lilo Keytable read/checksum error" when accessing

<disk type='file' device='disk'>
      <source file='/daten/vmware1/vmw/test/SmoothWall/sw-flat.vmdk'/>
      <target dev='hda' bus='ide'/>
</disk>

however, if i run that with

kvm -m 256 -hda <disk-file>

everything is fine, so the disk-file obviously contains some kind of boot sector...

current setup is debian 4.0 and libvirt 0.4.4.

Anybody knows if libvirt  has kinda boot poblem ? Since , if using virt-install to create a Windows XP hvm, virt-install

copies the files to the disk, but on first reboot it can't boot.

If i setup the Windows XP hvm disk manually using kvm directly, i can then run that disk after finished installation using libvirt...

Thats all for now :-)
